Geographic location of the vineyard: Municipality of Bolognano, Pozzo district – west-facing
Type of land: limestone clay
Training system: pergola abruzzese 2,5×2,5 – 3.200 vines/ha
Yield (grapes per hectare): 100 quintals
Harvest: manual, following ripening curves
Fermentation: gentle grape pressing, cold skin contact and vacuum pressing, fermentation only of the limpid run
Ageing and evolution: in January the wine is decanted into oak barriques where its ages for about 3 months; followed by bottle evolution
Sensorial features: cherry red colour with violet nuances; intense bouquet, elegant, aromatic, extremely pleasant; lingering, full and well-orchestrated mouth feel
Bottle lifespan: on sale the spring after the harvest, to be consumed within two years
Serving temperature: 14°C
