Quality, passion and love for art and wine
A dream of quality and pride in the land and our origins.
A dream of quality and pride in the land
and our origins.
The vine branch reminds us every day of who we are
For Zaccagnini, wine is a cult embodied in the “tralcetto”:
a vine branch tied with raffia around the neck of the bottles,
which has become a symbol of excellence, passion and love for art
and wine.
Made by the women of Bolognano, a small village in the province
of Pescara where our winery was founded, the “tralcetto” has become
an ambassador for the region and the wines of Abruzzo throughout
the world, standing for quality, connection and respect for the land.
From Bolognano to the glasses
of the world
Our history
Cantina Zaccagnini was founded in 1978 in Bolognano,
a small village in the heart of Abruzzo in the province
of Pescara and a “cru” land of production of Montepulciano
d’Abruzzo.
Today the name Zaccagnini is associated to wine and known
all over the world.
The determination, the constant strive for perfection and
the social and environmental responsibility have allowed us
to acquire quality certifications, in Italy and abroad.
Marcello Zaccagnini
It was 1978 when Marcello Zaccagnini decided to pursue
the passion for wine inherited from his father Ciccio and
to transform the grapes he produced together with his family
in a place of aggregation surrounded by wine and art.
From then on, the history of the winery has been a series
of positive circumstances, sacrifices, choices, but most of all
a lot of work and dedication, in order to continue living
the dream from which everything started.
