For Cantina Zaccagnini, wine is a cult that finds its synthesis in the ‘Tralcetto’ line, characterised by a small vine twig tied with raffia around the bottle neck, which has become a symbol of excellence, passion and love for art and wine. The tralcetti are collected after the annual pruning in the region’s vineyards and applied by hand to every bottle with an ancient, artisanal gesture that brings a touch of magic to tables all over the world.
The Tralcetto is today an ambassador of the territory and Abruzzo wines worldwide.

Master Joseph Beuys, referring to the Tralcetto bottle, said: ‘It is a work of art that has wine inside.’ For us, wine is a cult. The ‘Tralcetto’ line is its absolute celebration. After pruning, the small twigs from our Abruzzo vineyards are collected and tied by hand around the neck of every single bottle. A meticulous, artisanal gesture that physically brings a piece of our land to tables all over the world. It is not just wine; it is roots, it is history, it is Abruzzo.
